Bio-individuality is the idea that NO ONE diet or lifestyle will work for everyone. As we grow and change throughout our lives from a child to a teenager to an adult to a senior, our lifestyle and needs change depending upon our age, culture, body type and demographic. For example, what you’re currently doing with your lifestyle and diet might not work when you are pregnant or have to move across the country. Being mindful of our bodies changing needs is important as we go through all different stages of life. Throughout this educational process, I will provide you with a variety of resources in nutrition, and it’s essential to remember this concept of bio-individuality “ what works for one person might not work for the rest”.
